...like trying to paddle a row boat with spoons.
Ciao a TUTTI
So, this has been quite the week. Satuday we had a service activity for the branch here. We went to a rest home to cheer up the old people, but that's like trying to paddle a row boat with spoons. We did a funny skit(we just kind of copied "Whose line is it anyway") where I was the arms of my companion and he had to suffer me doing all sorts of stuff to him. Our audience didn't even crack a smile. Infact, none of them moved at all, except when I began to play the guitar with nutella on my hands. They all just about freaked out about that. Then after we sang some siciliano songs, but again I think that just put our audience to sleep.
So, Sunday was fast and testimony meeting, and our contact, that comes just to come, wanted to bear his testimony. I think many of you can share that creepy feeling that comes over you because you have no idea what he will say. Although, he did just fine, and he did a great job. I am really sad though because our good friend that had a baptisimal date for the 1st has disappeared. We seriously have no idea what happened to him.
Well, the 4th of July was absolutly awesome. We started the morning off bright and early with a good game of calcio(soccer). Then we went bowling. I had a terrible score, but that is because I was using my feet more than my hands. After we went to the new church to have a nice bar-b-Q, and after that we had a water fight. It was fun. Then we have this contact that is Italian, but he lived in America since he was 6. He doesn't speak Italian, and I'm convinced that we are his only friends. So, we made him some brownies, and went over to his house to eat, party, and then he lit some fire works. It was a good day.
It makes me sad to think that I have so little time left. Well, sorry it took me so long to write ya'll. We didn't have time Wednesday or yesterday. I guess that is actually a good thing. So this Saturday we have a baptism, and then another Sunday, and then in Mistretta they will have another next week. Things are going good.
Also, our new mission president is here. President Colton has finally gone home, and we miss him. Although Presidente Taranto seems awesome. He is coming tomorrow for the baptism, and we are really excited.
OH! I forgot the best thing. We have a Sorella missionaria that is going home next week. So, logically we pulled a prank on her. I had this stupid joke with her where we would try pinning this colthes pin on each other without the other one knowing. So, we decided to buy 200 clothes pins and cover the sisters's house with them. We also did some other little pranks, such as putting koolaid in the shower head. It was really fun. They really freaked out.
-Pictures- The first is of the family Tuzzolino, my companion, and I in front of their flower store. They are the coolest.
the second is of the missionaries and our cook-out. Sorry I'm not in the picture, but with my new haircut that I did myself I think I did ya'll a favor not being in the picture.
Vi voglio bene. Ciao
Anziano Paul
