"Hey! He's from Texas, get him!"

Buongiorno

We have had a good last week. Saturday before General Conference we had an awesome soccer game between the missionaries and inactives. It felt good to just run again. With all our busy time I try to rest when I can, so I don't get to exersice much. Well, one missionary explained the game very well. For the first 5 mins the game is really good, there are triangle passing, and good attempts on goal. Then, since none of the missionaries are in shape in Italy (the non stop pasta and bus riding are at fault), the real game starts. All the missionaries can't run anymore because of the pains in their sides and lack of shape period. The game goes down the drain. No one plays positions and we all just end up cherry picking at each other's goal. It grows pathetically, but it was still way fun.

So, then we have General Conference which was absolutly amazing. Our contact was on the edge of his seat the entire time. He was even like a regular member because after he had to hurry home for the match between Roma and AC Milan. Anyway it was awesome even in Italian. I remember last year I had to listen to Conference in Italian, and I had the biggest head ache after from the confusion of languages. After Conference nothing has really happened.

A quick funny story is that my companion and I were walking down the street in this area that has a reputation of weird things happening to us. When all of a sudden this group of teenage girls swarms my companion. I'm laughing because he doesn't know what to do with all these girls asking him stupid questions, trying to speak English, and trying to grab him. He finally panics and shouts, "Hey! He's from Texas(pointing to me), get him!" My laughter ended abruptly as the mob surrounded me. Ridiculous. That's a loving companion for ya. At least he got a fever yesterday which made us stay inside all day. My hand hurts from all the letters I wrote.

Now we are in Foggia again to get my companion's green card. We're crossing our fingers this time. Hopefully we won't have to wait 5 hrs to be told it's not ready. Vi voglio bene.

Arrivederci

Anziano Paul
