After about 3 hours of eating we were all ready to explode

Opera

So, we have had quite the two weeks. Things seem to be picking up. We are gettting more contacts, and having a lot of appointments. We also are really starting to get to know the members better. We went to this member's house to eat. Fratello Lo Piccolo is a cool guy, and he told us to eat a light lunch before, so that we could finish all of his food. So, we ate a salad, and then went to his house about 3 hours later. It was insane how much food he had. After about 3 hours of eating we were all ready to explode, and believe it or not I ate the most out of everyone. I'm like half the size of everyone else.

So, we did a fun activity with the Relief Society. We had them build towers out of a bunch of junk we gave them, but that wasn't the purpose of the activity. We the missionaries went aroud asking the members if they could help us with little acts of service instead of building their tower in the alotted time. I was shocked at how many of them wouldn't help us with our requests. They wouldn't keep their eyes off their project before them so they could serve others. We kindly broke some boxes after.

This last week we went to Monreale. It is a little province outside Palermo. It is really beautiful. When you think of Italy you are thinking of Monreale. A really pretty town. So, the coolest thing that we did this past week was last night we went to an Opera. It was French though, so I didn't understand a word. I thought that I might, but I didn't. Well, I will say this. The opera house in Palermo is beautiful, but I could've done without the opera. Also our seats were the super nose bleed seats, so we couldn't see much anyway. Well, that's all for this week, and I'll write ya'll next week.

Ciao
