So it was supposed to look like an eye, now it's a fish

Nothing really has happened this week. Anthony (we baptized him last week) reeceived the Gift of the Holy Ghost Sunday. Something cool that I learned that I didn't know before was where the Jesus Fish comes from. This old man told me it originated in Siracusa. After the Apostle Paul left the saints here they were persecuted a lot by the Romans. So to keep things secret they invented a sign to see if someone was interested in hearing about the gospel. They would draw an arc in the dirt with a stick, and then the person that was interested would come and complete the arc. So it was supposed to look like an eye, now it's a fish. Anyways the pictures are just some hot spots in the city of Siracusa. The first one is where the Apostle Paul did the first baptisms in Sicilia. Well so tells me this old man that told me about the fish thing, so I think he might be right. The next one is a picture of an old church, and the one after that is just what I thought was a beautiful shot. The last is the temple of Apollo in the center of Ortigia. It's really old.

I love you all. Ciao
